My name is Robyn Jenkin and I am a registered breeder with the Cat Owners Association of Western Australia (COAWA). I live with my husband Gavin and our two boys in the mid west city of Geraldton. When our first Brit Domion Lilla (Indy) first came to live with us as a kitten we fell in love with her chubby cheeks and mesmerizing copper eyes!! We then decided to embark upon the journey of breeding British Shorthairs. Our cats are a part of our family and are free to roam the house or their large cat enclosure outside.
About British Shorthairs.
British Shorthairs are a medium to large breed with a round head, full cheeks and small ears set wide apart. The eyes are large and round. They have a muscular, sturdy body which is also described as "cobby". A British Shorthair coat is plush and cracks as the cat moves. As a kitten the Brit is playful however as they mature they become less active and are quite happy to snooze the day away. The British Shorthair does not have a loud or persistent meow of other breeds and are a low maintenance cat that have a very easy going nature.
Colours that we produce.
British Shorthairs come in many different colours and patterns not just the "British Blue". We will be producing kittens in a variety of colours including Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac as well as spotted tabbies and the stunning Colour Points!!
** All of our cats are PKD, FIV and FeLV negative**
